String of Turtles gets its name from its small, rounded leaves patterned with intricate markings that resemble tiny turtle shells. As the plant fills out, its delicate stems spill over the edge of the pot to create a dense cascade of patterned foliage.
Unlike many succulent-style trailing plants, String of Turtles appreciates a little more consistent moisture. Give it bright, indirect light, an airy growing mix, and let the upper portion of the soil begin drying between waterings.
